Q: What does TrackMoose actually do?

TrackMoose is a music discovery tool. Enter up to 100 artists you already love and it returns a ranked list of similar artists based on real listener overlap - plus a steady feed of new releases from those adjacent artists.

Q: Exporting followed artists from Spotify

Go to spotify.com/us/account/privacy/. Under Download your data, select Account data and request the download. Confirm via email, then wait up to 30 days for the zip. Extract my_spotify_data.zip, find YourLibrary.json, and upload it on the TrackMoose Favorite Artists page under Bulk import.

Q: Do I need Spotify Premium?

No. A free Spotify account works identically. Premium has no effect on TrackMoose recommendations or imports.

Q: Can I delete my account?

Yes. Account settings has a delete button that immediately removes your account along with all followed artists, history, and recommendations. No retention period.

Exporting followed artists from Spotify#

Spotify ships your library as a zip. It is slow, but the steps below cover the full path.

01Open spotify.com/us/account/privacy/
02Under Download your data, pick Account data, submit.
03You’ll receive an email asking you to confirm - click Confirm.
04Wait up to 30 days. A second email confirms export started.
05Extract my_spotify_data.zip, find YourLibrary.json.
06Upload on Favorite Artists → Bulk import.

Do I need Spotify Premium?#

No. Free Spotify accounts work identically. Premium changes nothing about recommendations, importing, or anything TrackMoose does.

Privacy

Is my Spotify data private? Do you sell it?#

No, TrackMoose does not sell or share your Spotify data. Your followed-artist list stays in your account and is deleted when you delete your account.

Platforms

Can I connect Apple Music, YouTube Music, or Tidal?#

Not yet. Spotify is currently the only supported platform. Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Tidal are on the roadmap but have no confirmed timeline.

Can I delete my account?#

Yes. Under Manage account -> Security -> Delete account. Permanent, immediate, no retention period.
