What does TrackMoose actually do?#

TrackMoose finds similar artists from a taste profile you build. Anonymous users can enter up to 5 artists, free accounts up to 10, and Pro users up to 100. Each search returns a ranked recommendation list according to the current plan.

Is TrackMoose free?#

Yes. You can search with up to 5 artists and see up to 5 recommendations without an account. A free account increases those limits to 10 artists and 8 recommendations, and adds search history, playlists, Spotify import, and an avoid list.

What does Pro include?#

TrackMoose Pro shows up to 30 recommendations per search and lets you blend up to 100 artists. It also includes bulk file import, up to 100 saved playlists, and up to 100 searches per hour.

Is Pro a subscription?#

No. Pro costs $5 once. There are no recurring charges.

Why might a search return fewer recommendations?#

Some artists have fewer reliable matches than others. TrackMoose only shows the ranked matches available for that search, so some searches may return fewer than your plan's maximum.

Exporting followed artists from Spotify#

Spotify ships your library as a zip. It is slow, but the steps below cover the full path.

  1. 01Open spotify.com/us/account/privacy/
  2. 02Under Download your data, pick Account data, submit.
  3. 03You’ll receive an email asking you to confirm - click Confirm.
  4. 04Wait up to 30 days. A second email confirms export started.
  5. 05Extract my_spotify_data.zip, find YourLibrary.json.
  6. 06Upload on Favorite Artists → Bulk import.

Do I need Spotify Premium?#

No. Free Spotify accounts work identically. Premium changes nothing about recommendations, importing, or anything TrackMoose does.

Privacy

Is my Spotify data private? Do you sell it?#

No, TrackMoose does not sell or share your Spotify data. Your followed-artist list stays in your account and is deleted when you delete your account.

Platforms

Can I connect Apple Music, YouTube Music, or Tidal?#

Not yet. Spotify is currently the only supported platform. Apple Music, YouTube Music, and Tidal are on the roadmap but have no confirmed timeline.

Can I delete my account?#

Yes. Under Manage account -> Security -> Delete account. Permanent, immediate, no retention period.
